Content Notes – This is an adult romance novel. There is an estranged parent/child relationship as the main focus. There is mention of addiction but it occurs off page

Steamy Rating – 🌶🌶🌶

Overall Rating  – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5

Review – This is billed as a reverse parent trap which I guess it is, but for some reason I thought this meant the parents would be trapping the kids to date. Also there is an adorable elderly chihuahua who steals the show. The Sun and The Moon is a sapphic romance and technically the second in a series. You do not have to read the first book to understand this one, though there is a fun cameo from previous characters

I liked Sydney and Cadence’s romance even if it was a little fast for me. I felt like I could have used more of their getting to know you phase on page. So much of the relationship building we see relates to their respective parents. It just makes the relationship seem so skin deep. I mean the book takes place over like a week. There is good use of the one bed trope and the physical burn is so good. The longing really comes across the page.

This is a good beach read. Fun, quick, and not too deep.
