I review books that I’ve been gifted and that I’ve paid for. I am never paid for content nor do I have any affiliate links. I always share either at the beginning or end of a post when I have received an Advanced Reader’s Copy (ARC) in exchange for a review. Typically I get an ARC from NetGalley and I have won a few from Goodreads giveaways.

Just because I got an ARC, doesn’t mean I like the book. Any time I review a book negative or positive, I try to give good and bad. Also, it’s just my opinion. I’m not a professional literary critic and even if I was, I can still be wrong. I am also trying to be better about disclosing if a book is NSFW or if there are content warnings.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying a book someone else hates and vice versa. It doesn’t make you stupid to only read romance just like it doesn’t make you smart if you only read classics. I try to broaden my horizons and read outside my comfort zone. Sometimes I hate those books, sometimes I love them. I’ve always been a reader and reviewing books is just a way to share that love.
