Vanilla

You were like vanilla ice cream
Sweet
Safe
Bland

I needed that rocky road kind of lovin
Needed something more than you could give

Even if I covered you in chocolate sauce and sprinkles
You’d still be the same flavor underneath

I’d always be craving something more
Maybe you were ready to melt for me

But my sweet tooth could never be satiated
I just craved more
